      Great Pretender is a personal fav of mine but it does have two seasons.

       

      Depends what you mean by not for little kids as there are multiple ways to define that in anime.

      Thanks for the suggestions. I'm gonna go with Great Pretender. I should have added "fun" or "comedic" to my original post. Definitely not in the mood for heavy, depressing stuff. I really enjoyed Hataraku Maou-sama!, Slayers, DxD, things like that. I loved Serial Experiments Lain but have been afraid to rewatch it because it's depressing as hell.
