scoop 3,432
This thread confirms several things. Mike still inhabits planet Mike where any foreign people who don't like the way shit goes on planet Mike = enemies for life. Cologne, New York and Helsinki are the best teams in the league for members. Davos will win the Cup anyway. Seattle has become the Vasteras of the North American Conference. Calgary is going to get a ton of free agents to make up for losing Godavari and a lottery pick to Helsinki this season. And Mason Richardson is going to be a stud. Am I missing anything? Something about me, probably. Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/10585-richardson-values-the-vhl-franchises/page/2/#findComment-101395 Share on other sites
diamond_ace 3,112
It shouldn't cause a stir, it's not like teams should feel let down or insulted. Half them I know wouldn't have drafted me anyways. I'd have drafted the S20-35 or so version of you in a heartbeat. Recently, less so. I'd likely still do it though, depending on what value I thought you had as a player relative to others in the draft. With very few exceptions I don't specifically avoid drafting members simply due to personal difference. I might have an issue if you tried to armchair GM, but it certainly wouldn't prohibit me from drafting you, if I hypothetically had a pick in a range to do it. I would never armchair GM unless I was cast into a Assistant Role. My issue is timing and thought processes, that's why I'm picky. Some guys moves just don't make sense to me and it leaves me scratching my head at times.
