I was thinking about starting a new series of articles for the XM Radio/Fan 590 section and what I had in mind was an interactive story. I'm planning to publish a new chapter each week, which usually ends with a decision that our group of characters is faced with - and I will then conduct a poll where you can decide together on what the group does. Obviously you won't always be presented with all the information you need, so things might go wrong even if you seemingly made the right choice, but what would a decision mean without consequences . I don't just want you to decide on what happens next though, but also bring in your own characters for the story to revolve around. I already have the basic outlines to the general story, but I think everyone would be more involved if they had their own character they are particularly involved with. Although, let me be clear: YOU CAN AND YOU WILL DIE! (some of you at least). Obviously the story revolves around conflict and there will be casualties along the way. If your character doesn't make it through though, you can send me a new one that I will try to weave into the story as soon as possible. And another thing you should be aware of: Not everyone will appear in the story right away, some may be introduced later, others may appear for longer stretches and some may take a bit of a backseat to let other characters shine at times . I don't want to post too many details about the story yet, but it will probably be set in a somewhat post-apocalyptic world. I hope I can get the most ou of and add some new elements to this maybe a bit overused scenario So what do I need from you? - The name of your character (please make him Canadian or American) - Some basic character traits (don't need a detailed backstory though since there probably won't be enough space to get into it every characters past) - A few things about his/her appearance (doesn't need to be too detailed either) - His/Her best and worst attribute Important: Please don't post your character in here but send it to me via PM, the ideal situation for me would be that people don't know which member thought of which charachter and also don't know who is real and who is a "NPC", so that it's harder to predict what might happen next. I'm looking forward to your contributions, if you have any questions just post them here !
