It's been a long time since Phil The Rock Johnson has come out and said anything to the media. We are actually a little unsure of what to make of it. It's probably a trap, but we are spineless so we are going for it:

The Rock had an amazing breakout year and ended up not even being considered for the Most Improved Player. He had an astounding 403 hits, which is 16th of all time - a statline that went very much unnoticed. It was the most hits since Season 72, when his predecessor, Phil Marleau, managed 404 in a single season. He had a 333% increase in goals and improved in every statline. But he seems unphased.

"I don't look at stats. What's the point? My focus in on winning and doing what I do best to help the team win. I know my role - get opponents off the puck and cause havoc in front of goal, along with hard backchecking. I don't need individual glory, but many some better luck with our team success would be nice. Our guys like @tinafrombobsburgersand @Patrik Tallinder and our gm @Ricer13deserve the success. They've been the core of this team for seasons and I'll do whatever I can to help give them the Cup they've earned."
