With the wacky and turbulent offseason coming to an end and the ever important inaugural season of the Victory Hockey League about to kick off, all sixteen teams look to position themselves to be crowned THE FIRST EVER royals of simulation hockey. Let's see how these championship contending squads have managed to pull their teams together!

WARSAW PREDATORS

Warsaw enters the FIRST EVER VHL season primed for a deep run. With a forward core crafted mostly through the draft, and a defense line of two of the top VHL players to ever grace the league, Warsaw is universally touted to cruise towards the FIRST EVER Continental Cup. Let's review how they've acquired some of their killer lineup.

Zach Kisslinger II - Son of a former VHL defender, Zachariah Kisslinger the second looks to be an offensive dynamo that the Predators will need to power through the field. Kisslinger was an absolute gem for Warsaw being drafted 14th overall in season 80, he is now the 10th highest rated player and 7th skater. Kisslinger had a great sophomore season and was a team leader for the young Predator squad.

Brendan Marner - Another great selection for the Predators in season 80, Marner has jumped from 21st overall to become the 8th highest rated player, and 5th highest skater - wowzers! The late bloomer has found their stride in their rookie season and finished second in rookie of the year voting, thanks to a single vote and RIGHTFUL meta hating BOOard of governor member. Marner provides a stellar locker room presence for a rookie and looks to dodge the slump in his sophomore season.

Hari Singh Nalwa - Nalwa was a great selection for the Vancouver Wolves in season 80, a young meta abuser to help complete the erasure of over ten years of league history, Nalwa looks to redeem himself and win the FIRST EVER VHL Continental Cup with the good guys. Now rated 4th in his draft class, Hari Singh is primed for an MVP season on the Predators blue line. With three elite forwards running the offense, his secondary assist count will absolutely skyrocket. Nalwa is a small baby with only 40 checking and 79 strength and will need to bulk up if they wish to contend with the good players.

Tavish DeGroot - Simply put, DeGroot is a generational talent that will very quickly be proven to be the greatest Victory Hockey League player of all time. It doesn't take a genius to understand why - with the stature of Harald Hardrada, the cunning of Julius Caesar, and ambition of Alexander, DeGroot is the perfect specimen. Despite being the sole reason why Los Angeles didn't win last season, DeGroot has matured a lot in the offseason because he reached his goal of destroying two locker rooms - a good enough season to win rookie of the year if the Board of Dung Beetles were to use their thinkers (they don't)!

Brian Payne - The very definition of a defensive defenseman - so much so they had to name him after what he causes to the opponents trying to screen Wumbo! The big body will be clearing creases and delivering the dirtiest of kidney cross checks to everyone who even dares look at the Predators goaler. Sorry Scurvy I ain't gonna write more then 600 words in this article goodbye.
