Enjoy this overview of things that are happening on the forums. These podcasts are a learning experience on a lot of different levels. If nothing else, I get to read over that post about trivia and have another avenue to earn the last  TPE of the week. Thanks for that, @MubbleFubbles! We also briefly discussed some articles by @Banackock and @Berocka too.

Woo nice podcast, it's cool to listen to cause it made me aware of stuff I wasn't aware of that had been written on the forums.

You might have seen since the podcast, but for call-ups and send-downs, they have to take place during the off-season. Back when it was just VHL and VHLM, there was a time where you could call up any player provided it was before trade deadline (which is around a team's 50th game of the season), but those days are over now but at least you know you've got a prospect ready for next season!

 

Thanks for hyping up the Trivia thread! As a heads up if you weren't aware (I've not tried this myself but I've been told this is how it works), while you might only need one TPE per week from trivia, if you answer two questions, you can claim 1 for this week and then the other for the following week, so there isn't a downside to answering two questions. (Although you can only claim a max of 2 TPE per week from trivia regardless of how many are banked).

I hadn't found the answer for my call-up/send-down question yet, so thank you very much for that! It's encouraging to look down our roster sheet and see that there are some exciting players coming to us soon.

 

That's a good pro tip for claiming trivia - I sense I'm going to be doing a good bit of those questions in the future, so this will definitely save me a bunch of time!

100% no doubt it would be bird theme. I recently got a bird feeder for the back yard and I'm enjoying it an absurd amount. There is a pair of mourning doves who show up to eat the fallen seed out of the gravel since they're too big to perch on it. Sometimes the crows show up to bully all the small birds away and then not eat any seed, just to be dicks.

I think probably 4 for my mom, probably 1-2 for my dad. I have a distinct memory of him giving me too many wine coolers when I was like twelve and getting terribly sick. I still won't eat Papa John's pizza or drink wine coolers. I'm not sure if I mentioned it, and it's gotta be obvious after that story, but: my parents are divorced. (lol)

You be careful with that Discipline attribute, it cancels out the Checking attribute.

I never really want to see them but I felt obligated to have one. I recently trimmed it down substantially, to the delight of desktop browsers. I’m using my phone to write this reply and I might never have noticed that sigs don’t display on mobile if you didn’t point it out.

Nah I just grew up on a farm in rural Saskatchewan so we didn't have Internet access for some time. We got dial-up for a year or two, then ditched it because it wasn't really worth having (my older brothers hogged it up with their ICQ and whathaveyou). Eventually high-speed made its way to my area so we got it back when I was 14ish probably. At that point I knew ALL the bad words already, so they only had to worry about porn and stuff.

That's just being silly! I accidentally got kinda invested in the SBA after joining it to farm checks, but the EFL is still pretty much pure Affiliate farming.
