Wolves Look Ahead to Season 85 Draft

With Season 84 almost in the books, Vancouver looks ahead to the Season 85 draft. With their newly minted AGM in @Gaikoku-hito who's player Pierre Emile Bouchard was recently acquired from New York for a pair of Season 85 draft picks. Vancouver now owns their 1st and 4th round pick in the draft so that 1st pick has extra importance. Currently sitting 2nd to last in the VHL standings Vancouver is almost all but guaranteed a top 4 selection. So we'll review the top 4 available to Vancouver. 

 

1. RW - Henry Eagles @Greg_Di

The Eagles agency has a history with the Vancouver franchise so this would almost make too much sense not to happen. Having a first line of Puk @Otaznik - Maple @dogwoodmaple - Eagles going forward.  

 

2.  D - Phil Strasmore @Phil

The Phil agency is known for making great players who are equally great in the locker room. Strasmore would look really good alongside Bouchard for the foreseeable future. 

 

3. LW - Astro Singh @8Ovechkin8

8O8 is a storied agency back from retirement. 8O8 also has a connection to Vancouver and much like Eagles would complete a formidable first line with Maple and Puk. 

 

4. D - Jani Karppinen @ShawnGlade 

ShawnGlade much like 8O8 has returned after a hiatus. Jani Karppinen is looking to be a stud on defense and just like Strasmore would be a great partner for Bouchard.
