Almost a win now move with a roster that while good needs to wait for another season to pounce on a big contract like that imo. They're rebuilding tho, they don't need the expensive defenseman right now. Xavier is also a forward who costs 2.5 mil so not sure where defense is coming from. They're not winning now if they're trading for first round picks.
