Starting this season (85) the VHLE playoffs will have a wild card round! What that means is the #4 seed will play the #5 seed a best of 3 games. Wildcard Round: #4 seed vs #5 seed. (3 games?) So it will look like Wild Card: #4 vs #5 Semi Finals: #1 seed vs #4/#5 seed #2 seed vs #3 seed? And I believe this will be a transitional tool. A 6-team playoff is the way to go! Would it be more difficult to implement in STHS? Since it would take a possible reshuffle in the semifinals Anyway, love it! Also, best-of-3 seems like the way to go. Unless we sim 2 games per day on the wildcard and then it should be best-of-5.
