The Seattle Bears roster has entered a season defining rut ahead of the trade deadline this Monday. After the acquisition of highly sought after shutdown defender Ryuji Sakamoto, the Bears have failed in finding the back of the net. Tavish DeGroot, once revered as the Bears' best offensive driver, has disappeared from the score sheet following a honeymoon period with his new defense partner. Even in a period where Dusty Wilson performs as one of the best goalers in the VHL, the Seattle team consistently lets them down. Could it be the transition from defense to center finally catching up the Hogan 2? Is Florida Man secretly vacationing while a doppleganger that sucks at hockey plays for the Bears hockey club? Perhaps second overall selection Yaroslav Bogatyrev was rushed into North American ice and needed more time to become seasoned to it. Rumours of a players-only meeting were floating around the Seattle beat writers sources. The once vocal media leader DeGroot has become dismissive and short during interviews, which could be a sign of the depressive mood surrounding the roster in general.

It's okay, everyone knows @Banackock does better when he goes into the playoffs as an underdog anyway.
