Game Review: 

The VHL's opening night saw a match between European Division rivals HC Davos Dynamo and Warsaw Predators, both eager to start the season off on a high note. The game started with a power play goal from Jake Thunder for HC Davos Dynamo just 5:22 into the first, but Warsaw quickly responded with a power play goal from superstar forward Brendan Marner. In the second period, Warsaw took control of the game with a goal from Girts Galvins and continued to press the Dynamo defense and hammer pucks at Davos starter Xavier Booberry. HC Davos tried to mount a comeback, but couldn't get past Warsaw's IA starting goaltender Wumbo, leaving Warsaw 2-1 up after 2. In the 3rd period, Warsaw sealed their victory with two goals from captain Zach Kisslinger II and Johnny Xavier respectively, bringing the game to 4-1, where the score would stay. Wumbo had an impressive performance with 33/34 saves, securing the win. Xavier Booberry from HC Davos had 39/43 saves, seemingly keeping Davos within reach all night. The 3 stars of the game were Zach Kisslinger II, Biggie Cheese, and Johnny Xavier, all from the winning Warsaw squad. This was both teams' first game of the season and the Warsaw Predators made the statement on the opening night of the VHL that they are still among the VHL's best entering Season 87.
