The game was an even battle from start to end. In total of two goals were seen during three periods. When under one minute of the game was played Lattimer made it 1-0 for Prague. The second goal came also early on as Kardashian tied the game to 1-1 when around one minute was played in the second period. The decisive goal was scored in dramatic fashion by Kauppi when only 13 seconds were left in the OT. The game ended 2-1. Both teams had 36 shots in the game, so a game of hockey does not get much more even than this one.
