BOOM 8,746 Posted November 25, 2014 Share Posted November 25, 2014 Also, we recently introduced the mentor system where new members get assigned someone who can help them one on one, as opposed to a general thread for help. It has it's own issues, but the personal contact with an established member who can answer any questions or concerns "privately" has been a good addition. Newer members might be more comfortable with the PM or chat method of finding things out, rather then asking publicly in case they feel stupid about it. I vaguely recall a welcome message, but no mentors. Hopefully the mentors are good at keeping in touch with the rookies throughout the year.
