Smarch 2,943 Posted October 21, 2013 Share Posted October 21, 2013 You’ll have to speak up I’m wearing a towel There are a lot of characters in the VHL, many who push the wrong buttons of others around the league, but getting under the skin of others is considered a art form by many people. A game can quickly turn in the favor of the team who employs these menacing characters, and sometimes even backfire against these teams. Today we’ll look at some of the characters who grace the VHL and VHLM. Sergey Brovalenko Brovy has a gun license, look out The young center man, who has already seen his fair share of dressing rooms in the VHL, causes quite a stir on and off the ice. Brovy as many people around the league call him just seems to walk into meetings laughing like a blundering fool, which seems to rub a lot of people the wrong way. Born in Moscow Russia, Brovalenko may have had an easier time in him homeland with the comments he makes, but over in the North American spotlight the young man seems to act like a deer caught in headlights on an empty highway. His age also might be a factor with some of the remarks he makes, but with already four years in the VHL system the young man must realize the clock is ticking on his career and his chances to make a good long lasting impression on his fellow VHLers and the fans that follow the league. Smooth Jive Smooth Jive seems like a nice enough person when he is requested by the media for interviews, but ever since he caught a sexually transmitted virus from a young man during a wild night on Wellington and Church in Toronto, he seems to be getting more and more belligerent. After being drafted by his hometown team in the Season 30 Entry Draft, Jive was looked upon to help the Helsinki Titans return to the powerhouse they have been over many times during the thirty seasons of the VHL. Jive had himself a great rookie season putting up 80 points in 72 games and then put up 3 points in the Titans quick playoff appearance that season. Two more seasons with the Titans saw Jive put up decent numbers but others players had seen a chance in the once very sociable Jive during his last season in Helsinki. Jive became very condescending and angry at the drop of a hat tearing a strip off many other players on the Titans roster many times over the course of the 34th VHL season. The next season in Toronto Jive became a no show at many team events and even stopped going to practice. Jive recently announced he won’t be returning to the VHL after this season, but instead will be mentoring a new player that will be entering the VHLM this season. What could have been a great career was temporarily derailed, but hopefully a mentoring position will be what’s best for Jive and his family in the long run. Kameron Taylor Taylor is actually one happy guy Taylor The longest serving member of the Cologne Express has never shied away from controversy since entering the league four seasons ago. Taylor is very opinionated which many people don’t mind but sometime Taylor gets carried away with his opinions which many times can turn into a full blow shit flinging show. Taylor seems to rub the same people the wrong way every time, which one could argue that those people could be antagonists, but with that being said Taylor himself won’t walk away from the situation without getting his two cents in first.
