1. The theme week caused a ton of rumours around it: there are people who believe we need to get rid of it, or change the way of doing a theme week. What's your opinion on this topic?

4. In the near future, LA and DC will take a lead in NA conference as both teams are going pretty good through rebuild process. Do you feel the pressure that there is another team with growing and promising super stars?

1. I mean, I hope so but I am quickly losing faith lol

2. Was probably just a bad couple sims, but maybe mix up the lines? Although sometimes that hurts more than it helps

3. Probably Chicago. I didn’t think they’d be _this_ bad

5. My dream is still winning rookie of the year in my first VHL season. I came very close last season, but no cigar

6. Somehow, someway fruit flies will invade my home and I’ll have to spend a week or two terminating them

1. I think it's fine as long as we change up the topics and take some of the great suggestions from the community. I enjoy seeing all the different takes folks have on different themes.

2. That's tough. I don't really have any teams I wouldn't want to be traded to. It would depend on the year and who's contending.

3. If you mean most wanted in a bad way - I don't know but I'll guess the PIM leader Boris Bone-Breaker

4. Not yet. We just need to focus on our development so we can become that good and build a rivalry.

5. There are probably a few good choices but despite our record, our own guy LaClapbomb Hitstick IV @Greasy Gary has been one of the best defensive d-men out there.

6. Oh so many. I got a chance to play with quite a few with my first player, Gunnar-Rune Rorvik with Seattle from S7-S12, but I would love to play with stars like Scotty Campbell, Gabriel McAllister, Max Moholt or Alexander Valiq.

1. We're currently 12 points out of a playoff spot with a game in hand. Can we make a push with the current roster to sneak in to the postseason?

 I wish we would be able to do so, but, realistically, we are out of the race. In spite of this fact, I'm still quite happy how Dragons are improving with every season 

 

2. We were shut out twice in the last six games. What could we try to generate more offense?

I guess it's due to the lack of skill compared to other teams. We are young and at the moment we haven't reached our potential yet. 

 

3. Which team has surprised you (good or bad) the most this season?

Prague would be an obvious choice, I'd give some credit to LA. They are better than I expected and it seems they will be our rival in a few seasons 

4. How are your initial Cup Finalist picks looking? Do you still think your picks will make it?

I suppose they have been good so far. Playoffs are way different tournament, however, I'm pretty sure Toronto will make it and be in the finals in bare minimum.

 

5. What individual award would you most like to win with one of your players (current or future)?

I suppose they most valuable award for goalie is MVP playoffs. So I'd love to have at least one!

 

7. What game or sporting event has been must-watch TV for you this weekend?

KHL playoffs has started and I am finally interested to watch some of these games

1. According to our management, we are picking 8th overall. Which prospect would you like to see the Dragons target?

2. What do you think is the Dragons' biggest need going into the off-season? 

3. What area of your game are you focusing on improving?

4. What are your thoughts on team awards? Do you like/dislike them? Have you seen a certain team do them really well? 

5. If you could see one NHL team and one VHL team from this season compete in an outdoor game who would be playing and where?

6. Do you have any Easter traditions? 

7. With spring around the corner, what is your favorite bird?

There are a few nice promising guys that are good at both earning and discord activity. It's a shame that we lost the best G prospect due to some tragical actions. At least, it would give us more opportunities with this pick.

2. What do you think is the Dragons' biggest need going into the off-season? 

Improving forward group is a thing DC is desperately in need of. We have depth, but the lack of overall skill is an issue. 

3. What area of your game are you focusing on improving?

I practice early and prepare my mind. Basically, reading books is a routine I used to do in juniors.

4. What are your thoughts on team awards? Do you like/dislike them? Have you seen a certain team do them really well?

I really love that idea. With the start of post-season, activity went down slowly, and I'd like to boost it with some cool things such as team awards.

5. If you could see one NHL team and one VHL team from this season compete in an outdoor game who would be playing and where?

I want to see Oilers and, especially, McDavid. I am pretty this would make me crazy. 

6. Do you have any Easter traditions? 

It is usually about colouring eggs, baking some Easter cakes and more!

1. I'd love for us to get Family Mart, but if there aren't any good recreates available at 8 I'd honestly rather trade it for a player to help us compete this year.
2. I think we need our defense to step up. I'll be the second highest TPE on the team with only 715. We need more experienced players.

3. I went into defense pretty hard last season, so maybe I'll try going a little more into offense this year. I do know I'd like to get my hitting up.
4. Honestly, don't care. I'm chasing those trophies that show up on my player's profile 
6. When I was a kid we used to go to Chicago every year for Easter. Then life happened and my family became very poor so we pretty much never traveled again. The end.
7. Cardinals or Blue jays, their colors are just so awe striking

1. I regrettably did not take part in it.

2. I have honestly no idea which trade would appeal to me, sorry.

3. Had no idea who they were going to pick, I might have been too busy trying to order some cookies...

4. I think it would be nice to spend some of it on things that would increase the player's morale, like some tasty snacks, for example.

5. I prefer to watch it on TV because I can have a cosy time.

6. My personal goal? That would be to try and achieve yet another 30-goal season, perhaps even hitting 40 would be sweet! Ehhh... One can dream, right?

7. Maybe a personal reminder from time to time could help out... I am easily distracted...

Yes, I was lucky to get it done before I went fishing with turned off telephone. 

 

2. S99 offseason is incredibly productive, both for NA and EU teams. Which trades do appeal to you?

I would say that Seattle has done a great work. Getting two picks in top-10 is always a promising start of the rebuild.

 

4. DC has 6.5m cap space, how could we improve our squad? 

Realistically, we should take a look at available pending veterans. We are lack of experienced players! 

 

5. Are you going to visit VHL Entry Draft ceremony or watch it on TV?

I was watching it on TV as usual from Russia. 

 

6. What's your personal goal aside of team awards? 

I chase most goalie wins in franchise history. Making up a history is something I extremely want to do. 

 

7. What would you recommend to bring into DC Awards voting to collect more feedback and create more activity in the Locker Room? 

It depends on what we are looking for. Overall, the first try was pretty good and we shared our opinion on pretty much everyone.

1. Yes. 

2. I haven't had a chance to go over all of them but there have been a lot and I think we are a better team will all our moves.

3. No surprise now - they took Additional Pylons. I guess the biggest surprise is that they took a 1st Gen 1st OV but good for them!

4. We have decent depth but now we could use another star of 900+ TPA at any position

6. I want to bring a Cup to D.C.!

7. I think it was a good initial survey. Maybe we need to think of another fun award to vote on.
