He didn`t look at Victory Cup winner versus Wildcard winner as that one is clear as day when no one has won the Victory Cup and had any success since Hybrid has been introduced!!

That was CIA's article which wasn't stats based with modeling, but looking at outcomes. The only team that won the cup with it iirc was Meta Vancouver before hybrid.

Don't knock it. Moscow was the wildcard that won your cup. I get the point though. Riga won as 3rd seed.

Oh I'm fully aware, some of our deepest runs have been from the wild card lol, I think 3 out of our 6 finals appearances?

Gustav again doesn't disappoint.  Long, stats driven, well written.  I am starting to get concerned that Gustav may need a different form of entertainment.  Running statistical models to prove or disprove anything within a fake hockey world and apparently enjoying it, well lets just say that isn't normal.  Yet weirdly I enjoy reading it and all the varying comments, which tells me others also enjoy it.  I give this article a 10 out of 10.
