Commissioner Beketov 9,209 Posted February 17 Commissioner Share Posted February 17 Recap because I'm an idiot and messed up a trivia question: Despite taking home by far the league's best record in the regular season the Halifax 21st still could not push past their curse; proving once again that Simon does not care whatsoever about regular season success (for more on this, see the VHL) and will gladly destroy good teams in the playoffs. Halifax had a relatively strong first period, coming out tied and only down in shots by 3 but the 2nd and 3rd periods belonged to Vegas as they held the 21st to only 9 shots in the last 40 minutes of play and only 16 shots total in the game. A disappointing end to a strong season for the 21st unfortunately but congrats to Vegas on picking up another Founder's Cup!
