Here I go again on my own

Man this season needs to end. I don't say that in the way most do, most just want to move on because they are eliminated or whatever. I am also eliminated (congrats on the win BTW Vegas) but that's not the reason for me; that is of course so I can get back to simming and be done with writing these rambly messy posts. Clearly I should have just claimed everything I typed in the punishment topic since that's WELL over the word requirement but oh well. For all the complaining I have with simming it's at least consistent for the pay and I don't need to remember what day is Sunday.

 

So what's going on in the league?

 

Well ignoring all the drama from Friday it appears it's a wildcard battle for the cup. I know @Victor and @Gustav  have both looked at it in far more detail than I could but man does it ever feel like there's some kind of crazy thing going on with deep playoff runs. I swear sometimes Simon just codes extra underdog runs in for fun but more than likely the difference between a great VHL team and a borderline playoff team isn't as big as we think. I have no stake in the matter at all so go Riga I guess?

 

In other news I'm finally getting around to holding the holiday raffle tomorrow. I guess that means we have to decide on a grand prize. It's always been either a jersey or a Switch which I feel bad going back to those old staples but they have always worked well and their cost is relatively consistent. All I know is somehow the RNG gods will once agian likely favour a few people multiple times yet somehow miss a pile of others in ways I cannot accurately describe.

Try being in a different country that is 16+ hrs ahead and every is telling you that it is a different day then it really is!! LOL!! Sunday is actually Monday!! LOL!

That’s exactly what it is and people are just really bad at understanding how parity works. Why it could never swing my way as a GM, I don’t exactly know.

Could cobble together a shortlist of items that the winner could choose from. Personally if I won I'd take a bulky steam gift card (Paradox game dlc is expensive), though a jersey would be nice too ig
