It really feels A LOT like the Dark Souls games, the controls and the game play in general are so similar that it's really obvious what they wanted to go for. But the most important part is: I really liked the game and had a lot of fun playing it. I had already heard that it has the potential to be pretty good, but I was pleasantly surprised by how flawless the gameplay is and also by how polished it already is. It really replicates the Dark Souls feeling very well without feeling like a generic copy and the difficulty level was close to perfect in the part of the game that I played. The game is a bit smaller scale than the Souls games, the world isn't quite as vast and detailed when it comes to finding secrets, but they still did a good job filling it with collectibles, side quests and things to discover. It is also rumored to be a lot shorter than the Souls games, only being about 20-30 hours long, but the great graphics which are just so much better than in DS at least partially make up for that. So all in all, I really recommend you keep an eye on this game. Obvious you should still read some reviews before getting it, but from what I've seen it looks really promising, especially for fans of the Souls games! Hell, for the most part the shooting itself is adequate. It's just not very enjoyable, the camera is too close to the character, and the cover system is clunky. Bet you it has something to do with this person or a person who ever did this playing the game too soon when you download the game and it lets you play early, except some of the features are missing. Mike 708 Posted September 5, 2014 Share Posted September 5, 2014 Ea was rated one of the worst companies not just gaming but worst companies after how bad they botched the simcity release a few years ago (it required an internet connection to essentially play a single player game and servers couldn't handle it). The lackluster results from their sports games each year is astounding. Sure they look better each year in general but they cut features only to bring it back later to pretend its new. They need to release games every 2 years for NHL/Madden and offer a cheap expanasion add on or something in the off year with the new rosters. To hell with NHL 15. Your impression of The Crew being awful Sandro, what is awful about it? My trusted gaming sources said it was awful when they first saw it a few years ago but that every time since it has gotten better. The most recent beta they put out I watched a video of it being played live and the relative scale of the open world seemed interesting. The little challenges you could engage in throughout the world as well looked alright. For the most part the only negative I've heard about it is the driving is very arcadey. I don't need any good car handling, the nature porn aspect of the game already is enough for me What are your thoughts on Shadow of Morder btw? I saw that you are considering getting it and so was I, but I haven't ready a lot of previews on it over the last few months, so I don't know how the public opinion on it has developed since then.
