A highly anticipated showdown between Chicago and New York, as the Second City looked to take a bite out of the Big Apple! Despite their plan, it was the Americans getting off to a fast start as they took advantage of home ice to score the only two goals of the first.

 

Call it overconfidence, or perhaps just Phoenix finding their legs, but either way, Chicago stormed back in the second. It was an amazing comeback as the game's first star Joshua Schwarzer scored three times in the second period to lead the way!! Also enjoying an outstanding game was eventual third star Stefan Nikolaev who assisted on three of Chicago's four goals in the middle frame!
