A tough achievement as in the modern VHL it is difficult to play enough games in one organization to have the best possible odds to break organization records. Jarmo Ruutu has played his whole career in Moscow. Despite the glorious achievement, Jarmo Ruutu is fully focused on the ongoing season. When asked how it feels to leave behind such names as Hard Markinson, Duncan Idaho, and The Seabasstard, Ruutu answered: "Who?". That is the level of dedication and determination you need to have in order to break records, celebrations come after the work is done, and that work is the regular season and playoffs. At this very moment, Ruutu has 717 points in 566 games. When there are 10 games left in the regular season, a fairly realistic guess would be that Ruutu finishes his career in Moscow with somewhere near 730 points, which will only make the record that much more difficult to break. However, the record might not stay with Ruutu for too long as Maverick Goncalves has all the ability to break even the magical 800 points for Moscow!
