Throughout his career Thaddeus Humbert has been known as a player who plays well under the supposed "line." He rarely took penalties, that is until he joined the VHLM. Once joining the VHLM Humbert has found himself in the box far more times he has liked. Reports coming from the personal servants of Humbert suggest that the arrogant young defender believes the refs are biased, and calling phantom hooking and tripping penalties.

Refs and VHLM management have reportedly denied all claims of bias, but Thaddues camp remain adamant. Perhaps a "softer" game is being employed and marketed in the VHLM? One has to wonder why a player who was known for taking very little penalties throughout his young career suddenly finds himself in the box plenty of times thus far in his early career.
