Oskars Harumpf and Aksel Thomassen are two of Denmark's greatest hockey players currently playing in the VHL. They will likely combine to be Scandinavia's one two punch at the next World Cup. After having won a silver medal together at the  last World Cup.

Oskars Harumpf is currently an ideal second line center on a cup contending team but we believe by as early as next season he will be a stand out 1st line center. Harumpf is a speedy play making center who realizes on the shooting ability of his teammates. Although he does have a scoring touch his playmaking is the foundation of his game. Harumpf much like Thomassen has been criticized for his lack of physical play even though they are both big bodied players. Although Harumpf stands at only 5 foot 5 he is built like a tree trunk weighing over 250lbs.

Both players have known each other for years and Thomassen recently told a Danish newspaper that he would love to be teammates with Harumpf at the VHL level. Does Harumpf make his way to Quebec after Boychuk's final season?

Following in the footsteps of the legendary Lars Berger, the greatest Danish center in human history.

And Jakob Kjeldsen, one of the best goaltenders in Danish history.
