Mike 708 Posted August 7, 2015 Share Posted August 7, 2015 I want to do a Reddit Blitz for recruitment in photoshop, graphic battle, graphic tutorial/help, and other surrounding areas. Reddit is a huge community and opportunity for us but it also comes with the huge troll and negative reputation aspect. We don't want to plaster every sub reddit daily with things or have people with no reddit credibility starting threads there. I'm looking for more subtle recruiting where people post a portfolio of their work and invite people to join our community. By joining they will get to show their talents and get constructive responses to help improve their abilities as many of the VHLers have done. Other methods I'm looking for are sig battles between VHL members, and tutorials/videos/tips on sigs you've made. People who effectively start the threads there will get the benefit of earning TPE for recruiting new members and can add 1 TPE for that week as part of helping the recruitment crew. I don't want this to be spammed though so please come to me with the areas you intend to post in so we don't spam the same area. Also I can partner people up to do a sig battle there. If this works out we will do this in the future with writing as well. Same thing where we can show samples of work, ask for critique, and let others come here to get feedback. Also I know some people have done short story things on Amazon, scripts, and various other writing things that we can use in that regard. The rest of the community who use reddit will be called upon to post on occasion to give positive feedback on these reddit threads to get exposure. He has 35 points and a 70% positive rating so far on one of the 3 threads he started. I'd like at least one set of two people do a graphic battle. Anybody who participates during recruitment drive can get 1 TPE as well as the TPE you get for bringing in new recruits. I mean I could battle someone and lose for the sole purpose of exposure though.
