If you would like to do a proper switch of an inactive, at least this is how it works in the VHL, GM's are allowed to switch the inactive to the other position formally. The amount of inconsistencies between rules between both leagues needs to be rectified if it's different in the VHLM. People will invest more in something if everything is just as easy to follow/keep up with and the rules remain as consistent as possible with the big brother league.
