Phil 5,119 Posted November 15, 2016 Share Posted November 15, 2016 This post-season and off-season cannot be over soon enough for Phil Knight. It’s a crazy time for him and his clients. On the one hand he has to console his veteran star, Hamilton, over the unanticipated early playoff exit, and while he may have had to do the same for his young rising star, Shankly, he’s too excited about the draft to be disappointed and so Knight’s trying to find a way to temper Shankly’s expectations of the draft and of the VHL. All in all it’s not so bad, but Knight has admitted to us that he just wants Season 52 to get underway. Knight is also in the process of starting to recruit a new player to take under his wing, as Hamilton will be retiring at the end of the season which will open up a client spot that Knight needs to fill.
