Well, I was hoping we'd see a bit more diversity, but when your best players are playing like your best players, there's not much else to say. Probably going to be seeing their names a lot, but that's how it goes. We've got a new look at number three, though.

 

3rd Star - Ilya Kopralkov @Toast

0.932 save percentage, 1.34 GAA, 3 shutouts

 

Ilya Kopralkov definitely turned things around a bit this week. Although his win/loss record was actually worse, his save percentage saw a significant improvement. He had two particularly solid games against the high-scoring express, including a one-goal game and a shutout.

 

2nd Star - Tom Lincoln @brovy

16 assists, 22 points, +16, 0 PIM

 

Tom Lincoln continues to be one of the two heads in New York's offensive attack. He led the team by far with 16 assists, and he can be counted on to never put the team at a disadvantage by taking a penalty; this was his second week with zero penalties committed.

 

1st Star - Unassisted @STZ

12 goals, 21 points, +15, 53 hits, 4-time 1st star

 

In 11 games played, Unassisted was named 1st star four times. No other player on the team was named 1st star more than once. He had twice as many goals as the next highest, and has continued to rack up the hits and win a lot of face-offs. If he keeps it up, he'll be an MVP candidate at the end of the season for sure.

@brovy and I have a strange chemistry.. it worked in my final season in QC when unassisted lead the league in goals and seems to have returned two seasons later when we reunited..
