After a largely successful first-half campaign for the young netminder, Our Lady of Perpetual Motion found herself riding the pine pony for the latter part of the year after seemingly disagreeing with Saskatoon’s coach on a few topics stemming from an altercation.  While he would not expose any kind of ‘back room’ conversations, Perpetual Motion wasn’t nearly as hesitant to bring her side of the story to light.  I get it, I’m a woman, Trump hates me.  He [coach] didn’t have to make a point of it though.  Are you saying I can’t march?!  Ridiculous,” Motion angrily explained.

Despite her absence from the crease, the Wild hardly missed a beat, making it to the VHLM Semifinals with relative ease.  After a tough bout for a ticket to the dance, Saskatoon ceded to fellow Canadian franchise and eventual winner Yukon.  Perpetual Motion, staring idle into the ice as she watched her team flounder into submission, was not one to let her demotion go without a fight.  ”I stood up in the locker room and gave the coach and the team shit.  I should have been out there,” Our Lady pointed out.  Guards eventually came in and grabbed the second-year goalie, who ended the season in style with a grand exit.

The slowly appreciating netminder, a Toronto property, has since asked for a trade from the Wild in efforts to diffuse and, hopefully, eliminate the situation.  Word on whether or not Saskatoon is willing to let her go is unknown, however rumors are starting to propogate about Chet Manley hanging around for another year.  Her stellar first-half between the pipes (enter joke about female goalie here) should give Saskatoon a little room to work with when negotiating, if it ever comes to that.

Until next time, this is BardyJ10, reporting live from America’s hat.
