How his face stands out in the whole pic is a bonus. Honestly, the only thing that may add to it would to either darken slightly the fonts or add a touch of sharpness to them so they're a lil more bold visually. Maybe you shouldn't go back to writing! I feel like either the render is lq or maybe one of the layers added did something to his face but it looks over contrasted or something. The text fits the theme of the sig really well.
