TheLastOlympian07 2,388 Posted April 3, 2018 Share Posted April 3, 2018 Shawn Gretzky slogged through a very trying regular season for the Bears in which they finished 4th which was a playoff spot but much more was expected of this team. Since the playoffs started though, they have turned the corner making it past the Toronto Legion in the semi-finals after beating the Riga Reign in the play in round. Shawn Gretzky has led this new found offense with 8 goals and 10 assists for 18 points in 9 games. 6 Bears are in the top 6 in playoff scoring as the offense is truly clicking. Gretzky is still searching for his 1st Continental Cup after making it to the finals with the HC Davos Dynamo and last season with Seattle. Maybe third times the charm as @Tyler might be able to attest to with his new player . Overall, I am excited about the VHL all over again after a so-so regular season. I am also excited to see if Gretzky can keep up his pace and maybe win his first ever individual award. Who knows.
