2. I believe we will- last sim was a big improvement and I think that will continue.

3. All signs point to a tie between Petan and Harrington.

4. After this season, I’ll be drafted into the VHL/VHLE and it remains to be seen which I will play in- depends on the team that takes me and my TPE count by that point.

5. I think I would say my VHL draft in S86- loved going to Riga and was surprised to be picked so high!

6. The VHL app is still putting in work for me- it gives me my sim alert every day. I’d love to see it get some attention again!

Ottawa signed Dr Victor von Doom, can't imagine a bigger signing than that!

I've not thought about it since I'm not in a goal scoring position, but probably something from MF Doom.

Currently I do not have any pets.

I'm not a big movie person, so I will just say Star Wars and move on.

Ideally no one, we should just be given a bye straight to the finals.  Thats what I would do if i was in charge anyway.

Hey now I got 3 of them!  That's 3 more than 0.

No...he will finish with 2 of them /flex

It's looking a little less positive now but we still got this- I've blown a 3-0 lead before.

While I love having the experience of going to a higher level earlier, I do really enjoy the VHLM and am happy to most likely be staying here in Ottawa next season.

I certainly hope so, I don't know who is available in the draft for the E players though.

I think having larger groups of people in the M LRs will only be good for activity and having those 300-400 tpe presences that have shown consistent involvement is really going to help and encourage new or less active users.

I was going to head to the VHLE but now it's looking like another year with Ottawa unless I earn enough TPE where my VHL team is in a situation where they call me up before the hard cap.

My plans are traveling lots and watching other sports.

I don't usually watch the preseason games, but looking forward to when the season starts up proper.

 

2. Have you been reading up on whats going on with the VHLE players?

Yup, I think it makes sense.  I know there were a couple different options and I think the one they picked is fine.

 

3. How do you think Ottawa will do next season with so many returning players across the league.

Not sure who Ottawa has the potential of bringing back, will be interesting for sure though.  Its a big shift for the league.

 

4. Should the VHL leagues get a preseason? Howmany days/games do you think it should last? 

I think they used to and they stopped because people really didn't pay much attention to them.  If they brought them back I think that would be fine, but I think we are ok without them.

 

5. What do you think the best colors for a jersey are?

I guess maybe a black and gold combo?  I think black in general works well with a lot of colors.

 

6. Do you think the VHL could ever try different line combinations such as 2 forwards, 3 defense?

I think that would be interesting but it would just be putting a D in a forward spot, I don't think any engines would let you set up a 2 up front 3 in the back formation.

Most likely significantly better since the team was pretty lean on players.

 

2. What sport do you think should have it owns sim league?

Maybe something like a UFC league, if only someone would have made one of those...

 

3. Do you think the VHLM will need to expand soon?

I don't think so, I think it will be in a good spot, just the right amount.

 

4. How do you feel about the VHLM TPE limit being increased to 400?

I think it will be fine.  There were some tests down and people were not getting crushed.  Hopefully our real sims reflect what we saw in testing.

 

5. Howmany seasons do you think you'll stay in the VHLM now?

I imagine I will end up playing 2 full seasons in the M.  Same track as doing 1 in the M and E.

 

6. If your player had an edit made of them, what song would play in the background?

I don't listen to them much, so I don't have a proper recommendation but it would have to be something by MF Doom.

I'm not as active in it as I used to be, but I'm still checking in there daily.  I prefer discord but I usually check the forums at least once a day as well.

1. I think with a couple of pieces Ottawa could use their high picks in the draft to completely overhaul both the locker room and on ice product. The Lynx could very well be a strong contender next season for a Founder's Cup run, assuming a couple key waiver wire pickups happen.

2. Sim leagues are pretty unique but honestly it all comes down to the engine. It would be cool if EA workshopped their engine to work on a text based system or another engine that's more dynamic comes into the fold.

3. No I don't think so. Until teams are growing past two lines you don't need to expand it. There's going to be a small bump with a lot of players with this re-introduction draft but things should smooth out.
 

4. Should be higher imo. But it's nice because now VHLM teams can build cores with players and not just have spots on the roster that need to be filled every season. You can actually plan for the future and not be forced to go all out each season.

5. I'm planning on staying for one more season before I move up. My earning pace will prevent me from staying down for longer.

I am going to guess we will suffer 12 losses this season.

I did, no surprise there really.  Certainly been the most active bunch leading into the season.

Hard to say this early on, but probably Harrington or Petan Jr.

Hard to say as I am only experiencing the ones that I'm in.

I do yes, because the E doesnt exist anymore. So I'm happy.

Yeah I got to see them.  I'm not surprised, but I'm happy we have captains.

I have no clue, reason being that there are a lot of players with skill so it's hard to say.

I would say the activity is slightly better, but nothing special. I don't think I prefer it or hate it.

I would say my player is rocking the new  Bauer Vapor Hyperlite 3 prototype.
