I like how you've used an opaque rendering of the player for a back drop. That white exposure behind his right shoulder I could do without though as I find it distracting, and it breaks up the continuity of he BG.

     Your light flare is in a decent spot but maybe having it dialed down a touch would remove the harshness of it.

The colour of the player is nice as is his face saturation. More of a high gloss paper comic look. Maybe a touch more sharpness to the guy?

Noce how you've  angled the font like that. The Calgary lettering is nice too but a touch washed out at the end.

Would like to see more jersey changes from the members is. logo switch, jersey #'s etc.
