Not an actual review, just a comment. Jersey changes can be tricky. This is done relatively well, mostly because it was a face on shot which helps a lot. It does look like you added a drop shadow, try to avoid that. It adds weird shadows behind the logo that wouldn’t naturally be there. The contrast also doesn’t match up which isn’t help. Notice how the black on his sleeves is black but the black in the logo is more grey? In a real photo those levels would match so watch out for it.

Honestly though for the first time changing a logo I’ve seen worse.

I made another attempt at it. For some reason, when I make the Halifax logo 3D, it brightens up and goes gray instead of keeping the black and white settings I applied. I had to make two 3D smart objects just to get it to darken a bit. Still new to it all, lots to learn. I also made the logo bigger.

EDIT: I've also noticed the jersey seems to be 'bleeding (I think that's the term)' a little. Color seems out of place all over the chest region.

Something I noticed is that this time around theres way too much noise. I'm no GFX expert but you added a little bit too much noise on the logo

A much better logo change than the top SIG. As Shawn stated, there's a touch too much graininess situated into the logo font and upper deck, but that's minor to me.

Color of the logo has better focus to it and its only slightly less sharp then the rest of his jersey. And the white upper cabin area is pretty close to the white on his jersey.

Nice positioning of the logo as well. You don't see too many logo swaps so its a good thing Peace.

Yeah I could see what you mean by chest bleeding on the jersey but its hardly noticeable.

Good choice of white font against the darker background for contrast and pop.

Since this is purely a black and white SIG, I think it would be cool to maybe say add a little fancier font or maybe place a colored border around the font lettering for some aesthetic splash.

All in all a good effort! Keep making these, your only going to improve. BTW, you using Photoshop, Gimp or some other software?
