StamkosFan 72
It's no big secret that HC Davos is rebuilding, and has been for awhile. But it looks like they might finally be close to competing, with Pat Svoboda and Elias Dahlberg, two recent picks, blossoming quickly. And now, they have made two trades that will boost their draft cupboard, leaving them with three firsts in the upcoming S67 draft; if that's not enough to make the team stacked a few years down the line, nothing will be. As literally everybody knows, Seattle was handcuffed by a cap excess after the conclusion of the free agency period, leading them desperate to resolve their problems. The Bears would lose everyone they signed if they did not, including bona fide super star Matt Thompson. And so, they turned to a team that actually had cap space, HC Davos, who gave them Piotr Jerwa, a player they had been shopping all year, for stellar defenseman Robert Malenko and Seattle's S67 1st. But instead of keeping Malenko and go all in on this year, they then sold him to Toronto for Toronto's S67 1st and 3rd round picks. Now, they'll have two first rounder from these transactions, as well as their own 1st round pick; enough to collect many young stars in the draft. Peace 1,562
Not even a single mention of Peace bolstering the offense or centreing you line. What a sham! Good recap! Also traded Dallas Jones for another 1st so we got four I'm fairly sure. You have yours which will be top 3, then Toronto, Helsinki, Seattle who will all be top 5 teams, none will be lotto. Also with likely expansion once again it'll push those back one pick more and 2 of the top 5 players in this draft are GM players Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/59185-davos-lands-two-firsts-in-the-s67-draft/#findComment-594105 Share on other sites

Not entirely true. Seattle has the cap for me all along, that wouldn’t have been a concern. Ironside our is over so has the season started it’s likely that he would have been pushed back to FA. The decision would have been on Quik (obviously I was involved so conflict of interest) but that was the most likely outcome. In any case, Seattle wouldn’t have lost me because of cap problems.
