An Ode to my Friend and Captain

Two friends, joined in the unifying power of Mexico, known to drive each other in the training room and on the ice to be better. Unless a trade or some kind of drafting magic happens, these brothers from other mothers will soon see themselves separated one another as linemates and compadres.

 

 

"But Zoiderberg", you may say, "Surely you can't quantify how important you were to one another that way."

 

You're goddamned right I can.

 

Analyzing every game the Mexico City Kings played this season, I've pulled stats for every goal that MGS and Zoids shared a point on.

 

In 55 points scored by Henrik Zoiderberg in the S66 VHLM season, Michael Scott was involved in 28, for a 50.1% points share.  Scott has been an integral part of Zoiderberg's game since the season kicked off. It's fair to say I'd be half the player I am without you to teach me how to play.

 

I'm proud to call you my friend and my Captain, and proud of the things we've accomplished together this season.
