1. What kind of player do you hope to become?

2. Looking at your possible draft locations, any franchise caught your eye?

I hope to become a player who can be relied on in all situations, and can provide plenty of offensive production for whichever team drafts me. I want to improve on my weaknesses, such as physicality and defense, but not lose sight of my identity and where I believe my strongest talents lie, which is the offensive side of the game.

 

2. Looking at your possible draft locations, any franchise caught your eye?

A big one for me was Yukon. Being new, I don't know much about them but the fact that they allowed the least goals in the entire league last year tells me that it could be a place where I could really develop the defensive side of my game, which is currently a bit of a weakness. 

 

3. Have you ever played in a league like this before ?

Not exactly, I played as GM in a small sim league a few years ago, but it was all fake players, so in a way it was like an EA NHL franchise mode competing against others. This experience is new to me and I'm excited to get started

My priority is always to win, so I'd like to join a contender. I feel that I would rather take a small piece of the recipe to success, rather than a big piece of a team who didn't win anything.

 

2. Do you see your player having any leadership potential?

Yes, I feel that there is some potential there, and it lies in my desire to win championships. I lead by example for the most part, but I'm able to speak out when I feel it's necessary to do so.

 

3. Any teams that you like the look of in the VHLM?

I like Yukon because of the fact that they let in the least amount of goals this past season, and feel I could learn a lot about the defensive side of the game.

 

4. Give your sales pitch as why you should be drafted?

I should be drafted because I want to win, and will stop at nothing to do so. I believe my offensive upside is also something I'm confident in, and a reason I'm worth taking a shot on.

 

5. Do you follow any other sports?

I don't closely follow any other sports, I'm just constantly watching different leagues and levels of hockey. It's far and away my favourite sport for sure, but I do also like American football, as well as basketball.

The Carolina Hurricanes have been my team since I was a kid.

 

2.) Which team has popped into your eyes for the vhlm?

Yukon is the one that caught my eye because of their ability to keep pucks out of their net. As a developing young player, it's somewhere I feel I could improve my defensive game.

 

3.) Who's your favourite Swedish player of all time?

Either William Nylander or Nicklas Backstrom. Nylander is young and a great skater who's fun to watch, and Backstrom is a guy who's vision is up there with anyone else in the league.

 

4.) Favourite hockey team overall

I'd still say it's the Hurricanes. I follow the NHL pretty closely, so I see most of their games.

 

5.) Do you follow any other sports?

Hockey is the only one I follow closely, although American football and basketball are good too.
