Nate Telker had a draft day he could only have dreamed of just months ago. After starting the season with just 30 games to go, Telker turned on the jets and managed to climb his way to being ranked 56th overall. It got even better when he was shocked to hear his name called by the Moscow Menace at 32nd overall, which is 24 spots above his final rank. Shortly after he was drafted by the Saskatoon Wild in the VHLM dispersal draft at 22nd overall, where it looks like he has a shot to be the #1 centerman. the media had a quik chat with Telker after the results of both drafts. "I was certainly a bit shocked to go that high in the VHL draft, Saskatoon seems like a great place where I can get lots of playtime and develop further".  At the pace Telker is going, he should have a great shot at making the Menace team next season.
