All eyes on are Team World and their returning GM for the upcoming World Junior Championships. After a strong performance last year, Team World took home the Gold medal and surprised many of the hopefuls for the North American teams.

This year, Team World is shooting for a strong showing once again. The GM was overheard saying “if we don’t make the finals, this is a loss for our countries”. More pressure is on him for another year of tough selections. Once again, the left-over players from Canada, USA, World, and Asia will play a big role in building Team World’s roster – due to the lack of depth in the designated Team World countries.

Team World also announced the return of last year’s jersey and logo. The logo signifies “the world united” while the colours show off a mix the blue and green colours that make up our globe.

Team World is going for gold once again.
