I think as a whole, it looks pretty decent for a beginner. The text with the colour change, and a bit of smudge kind of goes over well there. The player renders themselves don't have a lot done to them, but they have a bit of a shine effect that works. I think it's decent for somebody who says they suck. I've seen a lot worse.
