Hello again, it's me, your resident spreadsheet nerd who spouts bullshit about the thing called ELO that nobody actually reads. It's time for a look at how this season is going so far.

1. Let's address the elephant in the room; the New York Americans. They started the season off in the basement, which came as no surprise for anyone (except Esso I guess), but they've since seen a bit of a resurgence. Actually, calling it a resurgence might be putting it too lightly, because the Americans are absolutely on fire right now, even pushing themselves right up into the upper echelon of the league. This could be the greatest in-season turnaround since... the 2018/19 St. Louis Blues.

2. Riga and Vancouver have had their respective ups and downs, but they find themselves nearly tied at the forefront of the league, they are certainly the teams to beat as the season winds down.

3. Davos was threatening to pull a S65 Moscow and just straight up disappear under the graph but they've somehow maintained some dignity here.

4. I really feel like Moscow should be better, what's the problem there?

I don't know, I don't know what this means

When (kind of) normalized for quality of competition, you guys are painfully mediocre so far this season.

This doesn't take into account win margins though, I need to factor that in eventually again.

That does make sense, we did have an easy schedule to start and then began to slump when we faced other contenders. But then we got Davison.
