Wang's Electric Start in Vancouver

After a rookie season in Davos where the Singaporean winger struggled to stay afloat, Jerry Wang has broken out in a big way during his first few stints in Vancouver. No sophomore slump here, playing on the first line with Michael Gary Scott and Denver Wolfe, Wang has managed to rack up 6 points (2-4-6) through his first 5 games, ranking him 5th in the league among right wingers for points. Even more impressive however is his league topping +8, which is tied only by linemate Denver Wolfe. In fact, 4 of the top 5 skaters in the league for +/- hail from Vancouver, with Wang and Wolfe sitting on top with +8 each, Scott only just behind them with +7, and star defenseman (or woman in this case) Tzuyu sitting 5th with a +5. Wang isn't the only young player off to a strong start in their new home either, with goaltender Jimmy Spyro posting a shutout in his first VHL game against the Toronto Legion. Are any of these things sustainable, well only time will tell, but for now Wang and the rest of the Wolves look poised for greatness.
