Mexico City has always been an interesting location for the VHLM. Most consider it an anomaly and poor insight by the league. The players are constantly involved with the rampant drug trade. The GMs are known to be corrupt, serving as high ranking members of the Sinaloa Cartel. Something’s got to give? This year more than ever, relocation rumors are swirling around the league. Mexico City seems to be in consideration for a move to Canada or the USA. This would be less travel, and less hassle for most teams having to go through multiple countries border security in short road trips – it will also keep the players more safe. Where Mexico City would be moving to? No one really knows. Some say Nuuk. Some say Miami. Some have even been as crazy to say they are going to Hawaii! It wouldn’t come to a surprise if one of those cities is chosen due to the amount they have been talked about in the past. It also wouldn’t come as a shock if the team was placed somewhere completely unexpected. Time will tell.
