League Recruitment - Sites, Forums, etc

Hello,

I got to thinking as much as the recruitment team does, if more people got involved - the likelihood of success is much higher. I've always been one to help out and recruitment and retention are something I'm big into as well. I figured it wouldn't hurt to take a look throughout the web and locate potential recruitment sites, platforms, etc but also get the league involved. I've found quite a bit of hockey forums throughout the web that are still active. Everything below is active and some have some crazy totals for member amounts (one is even 1M+). Are YOU able to add to this list and see just how far of reach the VHL and recruitment team are able to go?

As always, remember to respect other community boards and ALWAYS ask for permission prior to posting VHL related recruitment material on their boards. Do not spam, etc.

Great list! We have done quite a few of these so im going to mark the ones I know we have done stuff on.

Yes. I've done many in the past as well. I tried looking for the one I made while I was part of the recruitment leadership but cannot so I made this new one.

I feel like if we have a public list that's updated etc, our odds improve for recruitment. I'm also curious to see if we can add a bunch to the above list. There's 3 million members above.. In that batch, you'd think there's some that are just longing for some VHL loving.

I'm an HF user. I think we've advertised there in the past but those don't usually go anywhere cuz they are buried in a part of the forum few people visit.

We have tried but we get blocked and or they want us to pay for ads.

operation sports is a good place for sport video games and spreadsheet fans, though i don't think there's much of an active non-CHEL kids hockey community

Never know who is going to be interested and/or love hockey or what not :D

Because hockey forums are definitely mutually exclusive.

I'd imagine quite a few are the same but spread out, there's that many. I'd still say there's a crazy amount of individual members out of the 3M posted and the 8M or so on the other set. I'm sure we can find a member or two out of the "mutually exclusive" groups.
