The VHL is expanding once again, since being here from the beginning, I have seen the VHL expand numerous times. In Season 30 the VHL expanded to Quebec City, Quebec, Canada and Cologne, Germany. Since then, the VHL disbanded two teams one being the Calgary Wranglers (Stockholm Vikings later transferred over to Calgary, so basically Stockholm was disbanded) along with the Cologne Express. However, since the 50's the VHL has been on the upswing expanding a few more times with the Moscow Menance, Prague Phantoms, Malmo Nighthawks and D.C Defenders coming into the fold in the past 10 seasons. Now, the VHL is welcoming another West coast team with the Los Angeles Stars coming into the fold. Chicago is also welcoming a team with the Chicago Phoenix coming into the mix. London United is joining the European side of the bracket, I like the nod to United being like some nod to futbol teams from England. Finally we have the Warsaw Predators, who join the VHL from Poland.

Overall, it is great to see the VHL moving forward. The VHL has come along way since the beginning and we are all the thank. Without us and those who put in the extra effort, we can't enjoy this hobby. The VHL is one of my favorite hobbies. I can't wait to see how much further we can grow in the future. Thank you to all the commissioners, General Managers and members who make the VHL what it is.
