VHLM Redistribution Top 24 Mock Draft: S75 which teams are going to struggle which teams are going to flourish?

Craig Button here with the VHLM draft predictions:

The redistribution draft is still a ways off but it is looming so let's take a look at the VHLM and which teams are going to grow and teams that are going to regress. This is an early look so things are bound to change for season 75. (These picks are based on analysts decisions of who best suits the needs of the team.)

This comprises the first 2 rounds of the redistribution draft

Let's talk about what these projections mean for next year's draft!

Winners:

SD Marlins: They secure a top notch goaltender and a solid first line! This is likely going to lead them into being a competitive team next year as if they draft like this all they will need to do with the picks in the 3rd-7th round is pick up some depth to fill out their roster. I wouldn't be surprised if Rasputin leads them to being a top team in the league.

Las Vegas: A very strong team this year but they are losing some key forwards and their starting goalie to call ups for next season. They do correct this however as Mike Sterling is seen as a top notch prospect Goalie and has already posted 2 shutouts which is surprising for a goalie just starting in this league. The reason I see them as winners is they are able to fill the hole they really need to for this next season. However a consideration at the draft might be to move up to one of the Top 2 picks to get a already developed goalie in exchange for Mike Sterling who will be in the VHLM longer and a forward that has got at least 2 years left in the league to help that team build instead of rushing.

Losers:

Miami Marauders: Despite having some late picks to round out their depth they are really going to miss Rasputin's services for the team as he likely goes 1 or 2. As a team that has already struggled this season picking between Sovick and Gibson in the net is a bit rough as they both likely need another full year of development before being stand outs for the team. The issue is they lose a top defender in Bryne this year and likely lose a lot more after next year's season. They need a goalie for next year which to put it simply they do not have.

Ottawa Lynx: Talk about a team who is banking on internal development. This team does not have a pick in the first 5 ROUNDS! That's insane especially bc they are probably losing Phillyfan and definitely losing giant. This means their pack end takes a huge hit of 2 200+ TPE players. Ottawa better hope they win this year bc it's a long ahead of them as they'll continue to lose players this season and next with nobody coming in as even remotely suitable replacements.

Excellent work! Glad someone thinks Vegas can roll strong into next season. A head's up though, Rasputin may (probably will) go up next season ?. Will be interesting to see what happens!
