VHLM mock draft (Picks 4-5)

Since hylands wanted me to predict who he'll pick, this is the 4th to 5th overall of the VHLM draft. This is mock and it's my first mock ever. And if you notice, I didn't but Kunibuni UnGuri in the top 5, hehe!

 

Scotty Kaberle @fromtheinside - 178 TPE - 4th overall

This is a little out there as he isn't the highest TPE player not the board but I looked at Philly's players and they already have 4 forwards and a 200+ TPE goalie. I think they should target a defensemen to boost the blueline. Scotty is active in VHL and it part of Patrik Laine's off-season tourney. Scotty played 43 games total for Saskatoon, putting up a good amount of points and shots blocked. Scotty is a pass first D-men which can help the Reapers rather lethal forward core with players like Darius Marimoto. Scotty also went beast mode in the playoffs with point per game stats. With TPE invested in checking, he has taken a high amount of PIMs this season. A body contact player in nature, he isn't afraid to hit and stop plays with his body. 

 

Addison McLaren @tcookie25 - 202 TPE - 5th overall

Addison is a constant earner and would be a great addition to Mexico City @Hylands. His 122 shots made is okay for the amount of games he played. He had 30 points in 46 games for Miami which is good like all his fellow draftees. However, he has invested TPE into checking which might mean that he is making a power forward build. Addison is also present in his defensive zone with a good amount of shots blocked. He's a player that is capping every week and it's gonna be a great addition for Mexico City. They are going to need that power in front next season. However, he's spending a lot of time in the box and that's something to think about. Is he a team player? If Addison can keep the checking at this rate but keep it clean, it'll be great for the team.
