Reflections of Isau (3)

As you likely know, from previous posts and/or comments, Isau was drafted 38th overall by the Riga Reign.  By all standards the Reign is having an off year while they rebuild.  After 27 games they sport a record of 10 wins, 16 losses and 1 overtime loss.  Good for last place in the European Conference.  Their team production, in terms of points, is quite balanced with Zyrok12 @Zyrok leading the way with 22.

 

One might take pity on the lowly Reign for their abysmal season. But, nay, this should not be the case.  The Reign’s rebuild began towards the end of Season 74 when GM @hedgehog337adroitly manipulated a few trades into a wealth of draft picks.  They have 17 prospects that were acquired in Season 75.  Many of these players are being highly productive on their VHLM teams.  One need to look no further than:

These players and others of similar ilk will make the Reign a force to be reckoned with over the next few seasons.  So, to those Reign fans in Riga and elsewhere.  “Grin and Bear it!”  Your time is coming.
