  1. 1. I like your way of making a post so that you don't get lost in which answers you have and haven't used - did you think of it yourself? 2. It looks like you came back just before me - when did you leave? 3. What brought you back? 4. Favourite VHL team? 5. Favourite VHL memory?
  2. While the race for the Mike Szatkowski Trophy looks to be heating up with various contenders such as Helsinki's Mattias Forsberg and Jack Shephard and Calgary's Keaton Louth and Jasper Canmore all within just a few points of each other, the destination of the S61 Scotty Campbell Trophy seems set long before the season is over: it will be off to Pablo's trophy cabinet. The veteran defenceman, who sat out the first 19 games of the season to give his competition a headstart, has take the VHL by storm since signing for the Riga Reign. His career-long thirst for the Continental Cup quenched by steering the Helsinki Titans to the league's ultimate prize in S60, Pablo decided to dedicate his final year in the VHL to developing a young and promising Reign team, a role he will certainly carry on in retirement with a rumoured position in the front office to follow after this season is over. Although Pablo is unlikely to inspire Riga to a surprising playoff appearance, Quebec's lead in 5th place to large to overcome, the fact they are even involved in the race is a huge credit to Pablo's addition to the squad. Boasting a 1.53 PPG pace, nearly .2 ahead of his nearest teammate and on par with the league's points leaders mentioned above, Pablo's influence on the Reign has been huge and key to the turnaround in their fortunes. Furthermore, the rookie partnership of Podrick Cast and Edwin Preencarnacion, underdogs for the Stolzschweiger Trophy early in the season, have now turned the ROY race into a battle between themselves, and are indebted to the experienced blue-liner's presence for allowing that to happen. #Pablo4MVP #Vote4Pablo

  5. Aamooooooooo
  6. I think Germany in 2004 should therefore be a cautionary tale for England now but no one's listening.
  7. Sterling with a madness.
  8. Good effort.
  9. Germany 2002 route to the final was flying around this week which was pretty bad as well. This is definitely up there though.
  10. It's not the bronze medal game, it's the Golden Boot game. Kane v Lukaku.
  11. Yessssssss the living hell is over.
  12. Sweet sweet revenge.

  16. Got a goal, doesn't matter.
  17. The almost last round of World Cup fantasy is live. Bracket for TPE, Hardcore for well hardcore.

  18. 1. So I don't actually want to England to win..... so I guess 1? I'm fortunately out of the country from Saturday so don't have to deal with the consequences. 2. I've been here for years. 3. Oof, I've really stopped watching movies recently. Last summer I was filling in some blanks and I couldn't believe I had never seen Fight Club all this time. But honestly can't think of anything I've watched since. Westworld though... ? 4. Can't comment on Krigars-Locke, but I assume it was something good. The partnership I had in mind was Thomassen-Wolf (Quebec S38-S42ish). Or going back to one of mine, Chershenko-Rybak of S20s-early30s Calgary. Either way, I like the start and hope it's something which keeps going as the team grows.
  19. Calgary will be relieved we don't make the playoffs.

  24. Another great game, funny how that seems to be most of them if England aren't playing....
  25. Because of 3 or so posts up. Also Spanish taxes and general failing out.
