  1. Also theres a ton of smoke the Browns are in love with Wentz, so the Cal fan is probably going to get his wish. I think a deciding factor is going to be that Goff might not be able to play well in the bad weather, throwing into the wind on lake erie is alot different than throwing in California.
  2. i think alot of people are concerned about his playbook in college and maybe lack of arm strength.
  3. their OL graded out as the 5th best in football. They still have Joe Haden, Gipson and Whitner in the secondary who have been pro-bowl players, they still have Carlos Dansby and Paul Kruger for LBers, they aren't in bad shape at all, they just need a QB, #WR, RB and a pass rushing DE and they will be playoff contenders.
  4. Rychel for example, has yet to play in 6 consecutive games i believe, i wouldn't call a kid who comes up for a few days for a spot start every few weeks a non-prospect. i would say the cut off is 30 games in 1 season or over 60 games period.
  5. Say the league folds and needs to hit the reset button due to salary and money issues. the NHL says you can keep 6 players on your team right now, and just 4 prospects, everyone else goes into a draft that happens later in the month. what 6 players do you keep? For columbus, i think we stick with Bob, Jones, Jenner, Murray, Dubinsky and Saad. as for prospects we keep Werenski, Rychel, Milano and Korpisalo.
  6. Brady Aiken former #1 pick is back to throwing off a mound just 9 months after TJ surgery, reports are his arm was hitting 92-93 already. he could be a 97-99 mph left hander when its all said and done, no reason he should have slept to 17 even with TJ surgery, its not a career ender anymore an some think its whats best for young pitchers.
  7. In history? you must be under 25. the Browns have one of the best history in NFL football, it wasn't until they left and came back they have been horrible. Theres alot of good right now, they got the guy considered the best HC hire, they have one of the best OL, they have Josh Gordon who's got the talent to be a top 5 WR in football, they have a shit ton of cap space to fix the defense. Manziel isn't that good, hes about average, but the off the field stuff takes him down to being well below average, i mean he lied to the team not once but twice, didn't even bother to show up to the last few practices in games, he's becoming one of the biggest cancers football has ever seen. not hearing of Wentz just tells me you dont really follow football too well, the same with Goff. Greg Cossell ranks Goff higher than Winston, and says he's a better passer than Mariota Daniel Jeremiah from NFL.Com ranks Wentz as a top 4 pick, Jeff Risdon from ESPN radio has heard Wentz could also go top 4 based on his senior bowl and combine from an NFL scout. its not like either one is that bad, and both probably would have gone ahead of Winston due to his off the field issues from last year,
  8. Blue Jackets are close to being on pace to have their lowest point total in team history (on pace for 64 points i believe, team worst is 57) but thats ok, i would rather have a top 2 pick, i would even like 2nd because i like Laine more and it would make picking him more justifiable
  9. Rob Mixer ‏@RobMixer 4h4 hours ago Multi-point games tonight for Kerby Rychel (goal, assist) and Seth Jones (two assists). Jones a +8 in SAT at 5-on-5 so far. Jones has 4 points in 6 games with Columbus. Seth Jones SA60 is at just under 24, compared to players between 650-750 minutes played (Jones is right around 700 after tonight), he's out playing Tanev, Larsson, Hedman, Ekbald, Shattenkirk, ME Vlasic, Duncan Keith (etc) (unless i was reading the stat wrong and the higher number is worse) now he was playing sheltered minutes in Nashville, but his numbers in Columbus are even better. Columbus might have won the trade now and in the future.
  10. I do think under the right coaching (the Browns for example) Goff can be a Peyton Manning type of QB, probably not as many touchdowns but a guy who is hard to beat while Wentz floor is a suped up Alex Smith (bigger, faster, stronger arm)
  11. Prescott has really bad mechanics though and he has just an above average arm, he's probably a faster Byron Leftwhich. I dont think Lynch has a good enough arm either which is surprising for his size, he underthrows a lot of deep passes. the thing to like about Wentz is he has everything Andrew Luck did out of college, the ideal size, the athletic ability, the arm strength to make any throw with good zip but struggles to throw the ball downfield, the downside is he'll be 24 and he doesn't have a whole lot of college work. when the season starts compared to 22 with Goff, but Wentz has played in both a spread and under center, he wont need to transition from shot gun all the time to undercenter both from a play action perspective and reading coverages because you have less time to see the whole field from a snap under center. I like Goff for the accuracy and the 2 years younger, but i like Wentz for having all the physical tools
  12. I dont think Prescott is even going to play QB in the NFL. i dont know if Goff even has the arm strength to play in Cleveland and the bulk to play in the AFCN, but i think Wentz can be a star in the right system. He's only thrown 600 some passes in college so he still needs some work.
