The curse continues

On this edition of Beaviss Top 3 we are looking at the best part of the upcoming draft. This is not meant as an insult to the many great forward and goalie prospects this year. This is a testament to the amazing quantity of elite defenceman prospects. Unfortunately I don't have enough room to include all the prospects id like to so we have to take the most elite out of the elite. Casey Jones Las Vegas Aces @der meister 1) The newly anointed leading scorer in the VHLM. Saying that Jones is having a season to remember is an understatement. While being just shy of 2 points a game Jones is sitting atop the scoring leader board with his comfortable 13 point lead on our next player on our list. Jones's 84 assists is easily the league lead in assists with the runner up sitting at 75 assists(Ho Lee Fook) Jones's play with Sergei Komarov is a large reason why the Aces now occupy the top team in the league, just recently overthrowing the Ottawa Lynx as the top team. If Jones continues this level of play he could have one of the best offensive seasons from a defenceman in a long time. (Team sits currently in 1st place) Keaton Louth Saskatoon Wild @Beaviss 2) Our next player on the list Louth, has been the main victim of the Las Vegas Aceslate season surge. If this list was done just a week ago our order would have been somewhat different but with the extreme surge and the point spree by Jones, dethroned Louth from the point lead. Having carried the scoring lead for a majority of the season Louth now sitting in 2nd in points scored is also having a season to remember. Currently sitting at 32 goals and 70 assists in 61 games played Louth has played a major role on the Wild. The Saskatoon Wild defenceman has had a great offensive year but his major knock on him is his lack of playing defense while sitting at -6(+/-) is not the best its even worse when your currently 2nd in points in the VHLM. (Team sits currently in 3rd place) Ho Lee Fook Ottawa Lynx @Will 3) Coming in at number three we have Ho Lee Fook. In my weeks of covering the Top 3's I have not had a harder decision to make when it comes to a player on my list. There are so many defenceman that could have been 3rd on my list but when it comes to overall play its hard to argue with Fook's place on my list. The main reason why I picked Fook is that he can play in all situations. Offensively there are very few defencemen that can put the kind of points he has up on the board(75 assists). Defensively he is perfectly sound, hes on the PK and the PP as well as carrying a sound +/-. Fook is a enormous reason why the Lynx have been playing so well this season. (Team sits currently in 2nd place) Honorable Mentions : Nicodemus Raven @Fowll Colton Rayne @Spade18 Boner @Corco This wraps up the defense portion of my top 3. The pure amount of quality of defenceman in this upcoming VHL draft is epic. Some scouts have almost all these players being top 10 picks including the honorable mentions. This was the hardest potion of my top 3 so far, the 3rd selection was a real toss up between all the honorable mentions. All in all one of the deepest defensive draft class's in a long time. I also added tags for all the players in the article let me know if you like that I tagged if not ill exclude it from my next Top 3. Next week is the last position for me to cover GOALTENDERS. WORST DEFENCEMAN IN THE LEAGUE Mats Johnsson @Quik

Or as a GM your player that's forced to be on the team(your first) is capped at 5 TPE earned a week for being a GM that way all teams have a player they can rely on for being good but not legendary and they have to draft there 2nd player as a pick instead of a gift.
-
I for one will always be a one player person.

I'm not a fan at all of having your player have to play for your franchise. Having a sure fire franchise player is great but it kinda dulls down the managing aspect. I know "but everyone has one" sure that's fine but it still lowers the activity of some teams. For example I'm the GM of the Lynx but I play for the Wild it doesn't make me hate the Wild or any other team it just boosts my activity beacuse I get to care about two teams not just one.

No mod access or else I would I was running the contracts for the VHLM on that recruiting sprea
-
I know......but I'm still not a fan
-
Been asked twice to take a VHL team but I'm not a fan of how your player has to play with the team so I passed on the jobs for now
-
I would love to take on an increased role but I haven't been here long enough. I also don't think I have enough experience yet but one day I'll hope to be able to contribute more then I am.

Another loss..... the Lynx are cursed

Well if the BOG needs ideas I got a ton I've put a couple of them past respected members usually they can find a hole it my idea but if anyone wants ideas let me know
-
What does the BOG even do? No offence. Why don't we have a vote for the commish? BOG puts up 5 names who are interested and we the people vote on it?
-
High scoring game
-
Yeah Saskatoon isn't lighting it up lately
-
For some reason Ottawa is falling faster and faster absolutely 0 offence
-
Louth outplayed you
